 This just in...The Governor's veto of SB 641 Mandated Eye Exams for Children was overridden in the House on October 10, 2007. The final vote was 112 -0-0. The bill is now law and will take effect January 1, 2008. All children starting school next year will be required to show evidence of an eye exam.Next TLC Lasik Screening on May 14, 2008.
